Troy Container starts Liverpool, Manchester service

Non-vessel-operating common carrier Troy Container Line will begin a new direct consolidation service to Liverpool and Manchester in the United Kingdom.
The service will begin on Feb. 11 with a sailing from New York to Liverpool aboard the vessel Atlantic Cartier. It is a 10-day direct call to Liverpool.
In addition to Liverpool and Manchester, the route will serve the United Kingdom’s Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bradford, Belfast, Coventry, Durham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leicester, Leeds, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham and Sheffield, the Red Bank, N.J.-based NVO said.
Troy Container will ship cargo from any of its 20 warehouses located throughout the United States via the new express service. The NVO also has the ability to pick-up from any door location in the United States for less-than-containerload cargo. Cargo received at the port of Liverpool will be de-vanned and housed in private, custom-bonded warehouses.
The NVO said the new service will complement its existing weekly services to London and 12 other ports south of London.
