Duluth Seaway Port Authority appoints new board members and B&H Worldwide expands international management team, while Montgomery McCracken adds to Maritime and Transportation practice and Holland & Knight hires senior counsel in D.C.
The St. Louis County Board has appointed Patrick Boyle and Pete Stauber as commissioners of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority. They will complete remaining terms of former commissioners Chris Dahlberg and Steve Raukar, both of whom chose not to run for reelection last fall.
The port authority is governed by a seven-member board – two commissioners appointed by the governor, two by the St. Louis County Board, and three by the Duluth City Council.
Aerospace logistics provider B&H Worldwide has named Blas Jimenez national operations manager in the U.S. and Rami Osman export manager in London.
Jimenez, who will report directly to VP Americas Reg Echeumuna in Miami, Fla., joins B&H from OCASA Logistics, where he served as USA chief of operations.
Reporting to Neil Blakemore, general manager of U.K. Operations, Osman will be responsible for managing the company’s export teams throughout the country and its global AOG centre.
Law firm Montgomery McCracken has added Wook Chung to its Maritime and Transportation practice to serve as counsel in the firm’s New York City office. Chung spent the last 10 years serving as general counsel at Hanjin Shipping America, LLC, and its North American subsidiaries.
National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Assistant General Counsel James Rodriguez has joined law firm Holland & Knight as a senior counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Rodriguez will focus his practice on representing Holland & Knight’s transportation industry clients in NTSB accident investigations, accident claims and litigation, and mass-disaster litigation, as well as advising clients on export, import and related trade issues.
