Kane Is Able to acquire Vintners Logistics

Third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able signed a letter of intent to purchase Vintners Logistics, with the deal expected to close in the first quarter of 2018, the company said in a statement.

   Kane Is Able, a third-party logistics provider headquartered in Scranton, Pa., revealed this week that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Vintners Logistics.
   Kennewick, Wash.-based Vintners Logistics was founded in 2007 to provide food-grade, third-party warehousing and transportation services. The company consolidates food and beverage products and packaging materials for shipment in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California and other U.S. destinations, according to Kane Is Able.
   Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018.
   Chicago-based investment banking and strategic advisory services firm Republic Partners acted as an advisor in the deal.
