ConAgra Foods appoints chief supply chain officer, while heavy-lift ship operator SAL names project department head.
ConAgra Foods has appointed David Biegger executive vice president and chief supply chain officer. Prior to joining ConAgra Foods, Biegger was responsible for Campbell Soup Co.’s global supply chain and before that spent 24 years in supply chain roles at Procter & Gamble Co.
SAL, a heavy-lift carrier subsidiary of the “K” Line Group, has named Sune Thorleifsson head of its project department. Thorleifsson started with SAL in 2004 after having worked five years in Rotterdam and Singapore. Until 2012, he was responsible for managing SAL’s project department, and then from 2012 to 2015 he worked as project director both in Combi Lift and BigLift.
