ECU Worldwide and QTerminals each name chief executive officer.
ECU Worldwide, a subsidiary of Allcargo Logistics Ltd., has named Claudio Scandella chief executive officer. Scandella has over 30 years of industry experience, having held senior positions with different logistics firms. Prior to joining ECU Worldwide, Scandella spent over 10 years with DHL. He was a member of the DHL Global Forwarding senior leadership team as the CEO of its Middle East, Africa and Turkey region.
The board of directors of QTerminals, the recently-established operator of the first phase of Hamad Port in Qatar, has selected Neville Bissett to serve as the company’s first CEO. Bissett previously served as general manager of Ports Development Co.; managing director of an AP Moeller Terminals joint venture in Africa; and at Hutchinson Port Holdings, he served as CEO of Alexandria International Container Terminals and, subsequently, Tanzania International Container Terminals.
