Hoyer acquires tank lessor CCR

The Hoyer Group has acquired French intermediate bulk container lessor CCR, which has a strong presence in the cosmetics industry.

   Liquid bulk logistics specialist Hoyer Group has acquired French intermediate bulk container lessor CCR.
   Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
   CCR operates a fleet of more than 14,000 intermediate bulk containers. In addition to its extensive European presence, Hoyer said the company has “a good market position” in the United States. 
   Hoyer noted that CCR has a strong customer base within the cosmetics industry, which will expand its intermediate bulk container business beyond mainly the chemical and foods industries.
   Hamburg, Germany-based Hoyer is among the largest providers of specialized services for liquid and gas transport. Its intermediate bulk container fleet comprises more than 27,000 units. The company offers additional services in the container leasing area, such as fleet management, transport, cleaning, maintenance and repair.
