FMC reviews 24 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 24 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Al-Barrak Canada Ltd., Mississauga, Canada (Ikram N. Pardesi, country manager); Allianz Cargo & Logistics, Miami, Fla. (Karina A. Youngman, vice president); Convoy Express, Nanuet, N.Y. (Julien Lecadou, member); Cotonou-Direct International Shipping, Suitland, Md. (Remy R. Sekpe, managing director); Dependable Warehousing & Distribution, Miami, Fla. (Manuel R. Rivas, president); O’Niell Global Freight Systems West, Santa Fe Springs, Calif. (Robert Wu, president); and Transbridge Logistics Pakistan (PVT) Ltd., Karachi, Pakistan (Muhammad Shahnawaz, chief executive officer).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Advectus Transportation Services, Linden, N.J. (Michael D. Liquori, chief operations officer); Latin American Logistics, Miami, Fla. (Alcides D. Morales, president); Lotus Trading Corp., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Juliet Castillo, treasurer); M&J Trading and Logistics, Tampa, Fla. (Jennifer M. Ralston, sales support and operations manager); Matathia, Houston, Texas (Marbly N. Matathia, manager); Mohammad Graiz Abdullah, Houston, Texas (Mohammad G. Abdullah, sole proprietor); Optima Cargo & Logistics, Miami, Fla. (Juan C. Nunez, president); and TCL Special Projects, Marlboro, N.J. (Scott C. Lenza, senior vice president).
   The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Navivan Corp., Kenner, La. (Ivan Lopez, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Amerindas, Miami, Fla. (Salomon Diaz, president); Cargo Services, Indianapolis, Ind. (John Rowe, president); Dug Cargo, Miami, Fla. (Lorrie-Ann Poublon, director of international operations); Fastway Moving and Services Corp., Secaucus, N.J. (Valter Malgarise, operations manager); Fastway Moving and Storage, Woburn, Mass. (Valter Malgarise, operations manager); Suddath Global Logistics, Jacksonville, Fla. (Daniel DeSoto Jr., president); and Werner Global Logistics, Omaha, Neb. (Craig M. Stoffel, vice president of global logistics); and for a transfer to Transamerica Worldwide from Transamerica Logistics, Stafford, Tenn. (Shahid Momin, president).
