The U.S. and Tunisia have concluded export certificates to allow the North African country to start importing U.S. beef, poultry and egg products.

In 2018, U.S. exports of agricultural products to Tunisia exceeded $264 million. More than 90 percent of those exports were corn, soybeans or corn and soy products.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture expects that with the new export certificates in place, Tunisia will grow its U.S. agricultural product imports annually with $5 million to $10 million of American beef, poultry and egg products.
