Executive Moves: CEVA Logistics, Marseille Fos

A chief human resources officer is hired and an interim managing director is appointed.

CEVA Logistics has appointed Pierre-Olivier Landry as the company’s chief human resources officer.
Landry, who will be based in Marseille, France, succeeds Pierre Girardin, who had been the CHRO since January 2015 and “decided to pursue new opportunities outside CEVA,” according to a company announcement.
Landry previously was the CHRO for Geodis Freight Forwarding.
CEVA Logistics CEO Xavier Urbain said Girardin “made immense contributions to the company in his various management positions and was instrumental in setting up the new strategic direction of CEVA.”
Urbain added that he was positive Landry “will quickly, systematically and effectively support CEVA in its ongoing transformation.”

Hervé Martel (pictured above) has started work as interim managing director of the Marseille Fos Port Authority.
Martel, former managing director of the Port of Le Havre, was nominated by the French transport minister. His appointment is due to be officially ratified by the port’s supervisory board.
Martel also will serve on the Marseille Fos executive board, succeeding Christine Cabau Woehrel, who left in March following the completion of her five-year term to rejoin CMA CGM as director of assets.
Marc Forneri has been re-elected for a second five-year term as supervisory board chairman. A member of the board since 2009, Forneri is the founding chairman of Bucephale Finance.
