And he can keep his hundred bucks, he needs it more than me.

Come to Michigan, we have football fields of trucks parked rotting on lots, at shops, in parking areas, etc… I have been cruising around looking for work and have been amazed at the numbers of parked trucks, from carriers to pay to park lots. And then to top it off, many of these drivers are receiving the equivalent of $23 an hour to sit at home. Just think if the wife is unemployed sitting there with that driver, that is $1800 a week! For doing NOTHING! Now imagine if you have two kids that are of age to collect? Katie Bar the DOOR! We just hit the LOTTERY!
On a side note…
I was hired at a carrier the other day, went to orientation for a driving job, I was the only one that showed up on time, the other two, foreigners, wandered in an hour late… So, I got to spend some time with the manager, he was telling me how most of the guys will not be hired back as they went on unemployment… I had to laugh! I said with all due respect, the government is paying most of those guys better than your company!
He about choked when he realized I was correct, he knows what he pays these guys. LOL!
Oh, I did not take the job after I was informed the recruiter lied to me, imagine that? They pay Mover’s Guide and the first paycheck was three weeks out. That first paycheck would be for $100 for that orientation, so the REAL first paycheck would be FOUR WEEKS out. I passed. No unemployment here, cannot even register after two weeks of trying here in Michigan. I need to get to work, found a construction job paying more than unemployment, thank God.
