FreightWaves has once again been named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list, a ranking of the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America.

Winners are selected based on percentage fiscal-year revenue growth during the period from 2018-21, according to Deloitte. Overall, the 2022 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 241% to 125,138% over the three-year time frame, with a median growth rate of 611%. FreightWaves’ growth rate as calculated by Deloitte was 390% during that period.

“We are honored to be on Deloitte’s Tech 500, the highest-regarded listing of technology companies across North America,” said FreightWaves CEO and founder Craig Fuller. “Our growth is a testament to the remarkable efforts of the FreightWaves team, combined with the solutions that our platform offers clients.

“FreightWaves is the category king in global supply chain market intelligence, and we expect growth to continue as companies recognize the importance of high-frequency data and an army of supply chain experts to help navigate developments in one of the most volatile industries on the planet: the freight market.”

FreightWaves was one of only five companies in the state of Tennessee, where the company is headquartered in Chattanooga, to make the list. The company was also named to the list in 2021

“This year’s Technology Fast 500 list is a true reflection of some of today’s most determined and inspiring pioneers who have prospered by anticipating what’s next, understanding what’s needed to succeed and driving creativity forward,” said Christie Simons, a Deloitte partner, in a statement Wednesday. “Representing all facets of technology, the winners have shown they not only have the vision but can also expertly manage their companies through rapid growth.”
