ABC adds 747 flights to Tokyo, Seoul

Starting Oct. 1, the carrier will increase its scheduled flights from Moscow to Tokyo.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) will increase its Boeing 747 freighter flights linking Tokyo and Seoul with Moscow.
Starting Oct. 1, the carrier will increase its scheduled flights from Moscow to Tokyo’s Narita Airport and on the subsequent connection to Seoul’s Incheon airport to three services a week.
ABC said the new services will help meet increased demand in the automotive sector.
Over the past eight months, ABC’s tonnage from Japan and Korea has grown 40 percent. The highest level of growth has been seen on its routes to Europe and Russia, where volumes rose 20 percent and 46 percent, respectively, over this period. ABC transported 6,810 tons of cargo from Japan and Korea in the eight months through the end of August.
