AER LINGUS LOOKS TO JOIN ONEWORLD ALLIANCE
State-owned Irish airline Aer Lingus is negotiating with the oneworld
alliance, which includes British Airways and American Airlines, Reuters
reported Thursday.
British Airways chief executive Robert Ayling said that while there is
no definitive agreement, the airline looks forward to "working with Aer
Lingus to explore all options and to conclude the details of an agreement."
Other oneworld alliance members are Cathay Pacific, Canadian Airlines,
Qantas and Spain’s Iberia.
