Aeroterm acquires Delta complex at Dallas Fort Worth airport
Aeroterm, an owner and manager of airport-related distribution warehousing, has acquired a three-building complex encompassing 339,000 square feet on 35 acres at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. No financial details were disclosed.
The 5E Complex includes much of the infrastructure formerly used by Delta Airlines at DFW, including a cargo warehouse, GSE facilities, a mail sort center, aircraft parking, a triturator, vehicle wash bays, a commissary, and a reservations call center office.
“This is an exciting transaction for us, and will help us continue to deliver superior third-party airport real estate solutions to our global client base of airport real estate users and to the DFW airport itself,” said Logan Smith, Aeroterm’s senior vice president of investments.
Aeroterm recently acquired the assets at DFW formerly owned by RREEF and AMB Properties. Together with its latest purchase, the combined total of Aeroterm’s assets at the airport is now 803,000 square feet.
