AEROTERM EXPANDS INTO SOUTH FLORIDA
Aeroterm, the provider of development, management and finance of airport industrial facilities, has acquired a multi-tenant cargo facility at Fort Lauderdale International Airport for $13 million.
The acquisition is Annapolis, Md.-based Aeroterm's fourth in Florida and its first on the Southeast coast.
The cargo complex at Fort Lauderdale comprises five buildings totaling 155,000 square feet of warehouse and office space. Aeroterm will manage and lease the facility to cargo and passenger carriers and ancillary users. The company said it also plans to make more than $2 million in upgrades in the near term.
Aeroterm, with regional offices in Montreal and Houston as well as Annapolis, is active in more than 25 U.S. and Canadian cities.
