AFCO Shipping, a newly established cargo line based out of Miami, Fla., launched its first service last week between the United States and Central America.
The weekly, year-round loop sails between Port Everglades, Fla. and Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala, with inland trucking throughout Guatemala and El Salvador, the carrier said.
The 591-TEU Delphinus is the only vessel on the service.
