The third party logistics services provider opened a new facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil to offer specialized logistics solutions for pharmaceutical and life science companies.
Agility Logistics opened a Pharmaceutical Competence Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil to offer pharma companies solutions and industry know-how in pharmaceutical and life science logistics.
The center is managed by Agility experts who are trained in the benchmark Good Distribution Practice standards developed by the World Health Organization and European Union, which ensures the integrity of pharmaceutical products throughout the distribution process, Agility said.
“Pharma customers will have the peace of mind knowing that all government requirements for their shipments have been met and that administrative cost and effort on their part will be reduced to a minimum,” Agility CEO of Global Integrated Logistics Brazil Ricardo Sapag said in a statement.
The pharmaceutical and life sciences logistics services provider also has Pharmaceutical Competence Centers in Basel, Switzerland; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Mumbai, India, with a network of specialized pharma offices throughout Europe.
