American Airlines Cargo has increased its sales offerings in Central America by appointing FlyUS as its sole general sales and services agent (GSSA).
FlyUs, based in San Jose, Costa Rica, is responsible for American’s cargo sales across eight cities in seven countries, including Guatemala City, Belize City, San Pedro Sula, San Jose, Tegucigalpa, San Salvador, Managua and Panama City. A dedicated sales team will be led by Carlo de Haas, managing director.
“With multiple products such as PPS, EPX and EPXTC we can sell on 140 flights per week from eight cities,” de Haas said, in a statement.
De Haas noted there is tremendous potential for export cargo business from all locations in the FlyUs portfolio, especially from Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama.
