AMI expands U.S. air cargo operations to Miami

The air cargo space wholesaler opened a new office in Miami, which will handle local cargo, as well as transshipments from its global network on their way to South America.

   AMI, a large air cargo space wholesaler, has opened a new office in Miami, with the aim to expand its reach in the South American market.
   The company said its Miami office will handle both local air cargo, as well as transshipments from its global network on their way to South America.
   AMI’s partner in South America, Brazil-based Craft Group, has offices in 27 locations throughout Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. Craft will handle and clear AMI’s imports to these countries, as well as selling AMI’s global network of direct and via-Miami services.
   With the opening of AMI’s Miami office, the global wholesaler now has six U.S. branches, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta.
