Anderson named new IWLA president, CEO
The International Warehouse Logistics Association said Tuesday that is has selected Joel D. Anderson to be the association’s new president and chief executive officer, effective April 3.
In this position, he will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of IWLA and its subsidiaries: IWLA Services and the IWLA Education & Research Foundation. He replaces Joel Hoiland, who left in October 2005 to pursue other interests.
A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson has spent the past 13 years as executive vice president/CEO of the California Trucking Association, the largest state entity of the American Trucking Associations.
