The Port of Los Angeles will hold a public hearing on Thursday evening to receive public comments prior to considering the a request by APM Terminals to raise 14 existing container cranes and extend their reach booms at berths 401-404.
APM plans to raise the cranes 32 feet and extend the boom reach by 10 feet, according to documents on the port’s website.
