Aqua Gulf, Hawaii Intermodal Tank partner

Aqua Gulf Transport and Hawaii Intermodal Tank Transport said they have formed an alliance to provide transportation with specialized temperature-controlled ISO tank containers in the Puerto Rico and Caribbean markets.
The alliance will combine Aqua Gulf’s logistics and shipping network with Hawaii Intermodal Tank’s fleet of refrigerated and super-insulated ISO tanks that have the ability to maintain a constant
temperature from end to end.
The companies said the new alliance will operate the largest
fleet of refrigerated ISO tanks in the world and is also the leader of
aseptic technology in tanks.
The alliance is “a clear example of a cooperation hat brings about improved synergies and capabilities, making the whole greater than the parts”, according to Bahman Sadeghi, managing member of Hawaii Intermodal Tank.
Non-vessel-operating common carrier Aqua Gulf said with the trucking and warehouse capabilities of its sister company Aqua Gulf Xpress, it can offer door to door transportation.
