ATLAS SIGNS DANISH AIRLINE TO B747 LEASE
Atlas Air has signed Sterling European Kommanditaktieselskab, a
passenger and cargo airline based in Copenhagen, to a long-term wet-lease contract for one
B747-200 freighter.
Atlas will operate the freighter for Sterling on routes from Stockholm
and Copenhagen to Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, through Dubai, U.A.E. once a week.
Sterling operates eight B727 freighters for express carrier TNT in
Europe, plus a fleet of eight B737 and B727 passenger planes for tour
operators.
