John McCown

John McCown is the co-founder and former chairman and CEO of U.S. flag carrier Trailer Bridge Inc., which provides container service to Puerto Rico. McCown has been in and around shipping for more than three decades and is the holder of two shipping-related patents. More recently his focus on the industry has been from an investment perspective, including several years as the transport sector head at a large hedge fund.
