Barns directs Saddle Creek’s business development

   Saddle Creek Logistics Services, a Lakeland, Fla.-based third party logistics firm, has appointed Amy Barnes to director of business development.
   In this role, she will oversee the development of new customer relationships and help generate organic growth with existing accounts. She will be based in Winston-Salem, N.C.
   Before joining Saddle Creek, Barnes held several positions at Inmar Inc., most recently as director of business development for supply chain networks. Previous sales positions included GMAC Insurance, Universal Solutions International and Nabisco.

Chris Gillis

Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Chris Gillis primarily reports on regulatory and legislative topics that impact cross-border trade. He joined American Shipper in 1994, shortly after graduating from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md., with a degree in international business and economics.
