Bernuth Lines adjusts cargo policies
Bernuth Lines is adjusting its cargo acceptance policies, limiting the days it accepts vehicles for export and completely discontinuing the transport of any type of explosives.
The Miami-based Caribbean Basin carrier said that effective today it will only receive vehicles for export at its Hialeah warehouse on Mondays and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A notice on the change also reminded exporters of vehicles to have the proper documentation completed or vehicles will not clear Customs.
Bernuth added that effective immediately it will no longer accept explosives of any type of class.
