BETSY DURANT TO HEAD CUSTOMS U.S. TRADE PROGRAMS

   Betsy Durant has been named executive director for trade programs at the
U.S. Customs Service.
   She will be in charge of trade compliance and policy development for the
agency’s future computer system, the Automated Commercial Environment.
   Philip Metzger has been named to succeed her as director of strategic
trade operations.
