Bischof named Lufthansa’s VP Americas
The Lufthansa Group has appointed Jens Bischof as vice president, the Americas, responsible for all operations, sales and marketing in North and South America.
Since March 2005, Bischof has been responsible for coordinating SWISS’s integration into the Lufthansa Group. He will move to New York to start his new job Sept. 1.
Bischof will replace Thomas Winkelmann, who will join the executive board of Lufthansa’s regional subsidiary Eurowings and become managing director of its low-cost European airline Germanwings.
