Breaking News: Ambassador Bridge owner, trucking mogul Manuel Moroun dies — report

Trucking mogul Manuel Moroun, the billionaire owner of the Ambassador Bridge, has died at the age of 93, Crain’s Detroit Business reported on Monday.

Moroun purchased the Ambassador Bridge in 1979. The bridge, linking Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, is the only privately owned border crossing between the U.S. and Canada.

He also had large stakes in transportation firms P.A.M. Transport and Universal Logistics.
