BRENNAN INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT
Brennan International Transport, a Rancho Dominquez, Calif.-based non-vessel-operating common carrier, has appointed John Franson president.
Franson will operate from his office in Itasca, Ill. He replaces Charles Brennan, founder of the company who has recently become chairman.
Franson joined Brennan in 1994 as general manager of the company’s Chicago office. Since January 1999, he has served as Brennan’s chief operating officer.
Charles Brennan said he will remain active in the company. “With our growth over the past few years, it is now necessary for John to assume the day-to-day management of the company,” he said. “In turn, I can focus more on the international developments of the firm.”
