British Airways World Cargo increasing fuel surcharge
British Airways World Cargo said today it will increase its fuel surcharge to '0.63/95 cents/0.95 euros, from '0.57/85 cents/0.85 euros), effective April 3.
The airline said the increase follows a second consecutive week that its fuel index has been above the level 19 threshold. 'Fuel prices continue to escalate which makes it necessary to increase our fuel surcharge by two levels, in line with the index,” said Adam Carson, BA World Cargo’s senior manager revenue management.
