BRITISH AIRWAYS WORLD CARGO NAMES HERMES AVIATION AS U.S. AGENT
British Airways World Cargo has named Hermes Aviation, a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based Mercury Air Group, as its U.S. general cargo sales agent.
The company operates sales offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York. It also has offices in Toronto and Montreal, and in Mexico City and Guadalajara. Hermes provides cargo sales services to about 20 airlines. The company generated $65 million in revenues in 1999-2000.
The initial two-year contract agreement includes an option to extend the service until 2004.
