BURNSIDE TO JOIN R.K. JOHNS & ASSOCIATES
P. Elliott Burnside, the former president of Crowley American Transport,
has become senior adviser to the management consulting firm of R.K. Johns & Associates
in New York.
Burnside will work with port, intermodal and ocean carrier clients "on a
range of logistics and strategic issues," said president William J. Coffey. The firm
was founded in 1987 by R. Kenneth Johns, a former president of Sea-Land Service, who
continues as its chairman.
