BXA TO HOLD EXPORT ENFORCEMENT SEMINAR IN FORT LAUDERDALE
The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Export Enforcement will sponsor a seminar to educate shippers on the latest U.S. export regulations.
The all-morning program will be held at the World Trade Center Fort Lauderdale on April 4. Speakers at the seminar include representatives from BXA, Customs, Census Bureau, FBI and the Office of Foreign Asset Control.
The topics will cover regulations for exporting and review of current U.S. trade embargoes. The agencies will also discuss regulations for properly submitting shipper’s export declarations.
“This workshop is designed to help industry executives stay current with ‘hands-on’ export control and enforcement issues and to provide a forum to ask questions,” BXA said.
