The logistics company C.H. Robinson said it had profit of $114.3 million in the third quarter ending Sept. 30, 11.4 percent more than the $102.6 million in the same 2010 period.
Total revenue was $2.7 billion for the quarter, 11.3 percent more than the $2.4 billion recorded in the third quarter of 2010.
Total net revenue was $423 million in the third quarter, up 10.6 percent over the same period a year earlier.
The company broke that figure down as follows: truck revenue, $321.4 million, up 13.1 percent; intermodal, 10.5 million, up 14.7 percent; ocean, 17.9 million, up 4.8 percent; air, 9.9 million, down 13.2 percent; other logistic services, 14.8 million, up 0.6 percent; sourcing, $33.1 million, up 3.7 percent; payment services, $15.5 million, up 10 percent.
