Cathay Pacific Cargo and Emirates SkyCargo will increase their presence at the cargo-dedicated Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio this October.
Cathay Pacific will add a fourth weekly frequency on Tuesdays between Rickenbacker and Hong Kong Oct. 13. The new frequency is currently slated to be a seasonal addition until the end of the year. The airline has been operating between its hub in Hong Kong and Rickenbacker since 2014.

Emirates SkyCargo, which began offering a scheduled import service on Wednesdays from its hub in Dubai to Rickenbacker four months ago, is adding a second frequency Oct. 3. The airline plans to continue the new Saturday frequency even after the peak season ends.
In addition to belly-hold capacity on Emirates aircraft, Emirates SkyCargo encompasses a fleet of 13 Boeing 777Fs and two Boeing 747-ERFs. The airline’s scheduled freighter services operate to 53 destinations in 40 countries, according to Emirates SkyCargo’s website.
