Cargolux expands service to Ecuador

Starting July 2, the Luxembourg-based all-cargo carrier will now offer four scheduled weekly flights to and from the capital city of Quito, Ecuador.

Cargolux Airlines, a Luxembourg-based all-cargo carrier, on July 2 began offering four scheduled weekly flights to and from the capital city of Quito, Ecuador.
The flights originate in Luxembourg and operate through Curitiba, Viracopos and Mexico, respectively, before landing in Quito. The flights then continue on to Amsterdam and back to Luxembourg, where cargo can connect with the carrier’s other global flights.
Cargolux’s direct flights from South and Central America to Amsterdam started in 2016 and have primarily served the perishable and flower markets. The airline first entered Ecuador in late 2000 and has since become a leading supplier of air transport services for the South American country’s freight forwarders.
