CAROTRANS OPENS NEW MIAMI OFFICE AND WAREHOUSE
CaroTrans International has opened a new office and warehouse in Miami to firm up its non-vessel-operating common carrier operations in the North American/Latin America/Caribbean trade.
The 50,000-square-foot warehouse will be operated in partnership with DSR Shipping Co., an NVO focused on the Costa Rican and Guatemalan freight markets. The facility includes nine dock doors and one-third of the interior space will be racked.
“We decided to co-locate our Miami staff and the warehousing operation to better facilitate communication and cargo control and security,” said Gregory Maya, CaroTrans’ branch manager in Miami.
