CARRIERS NOTIFY JOINT U.S. GULF/GUYANA/SURINAME SERVICE
Associated Transport Line and Signet SeaFreight Shipping Co. have notified
a joint service agreement to the Federal Maritime Commission covering the U.S.
Gulf/Caribbean/North Coast of South America trade.
Under the proposed agreement, American Transport Line and Signet would
establish a joint service, to be known as Texpress American Line, that will operate in the
trade between U.S. Gulf ports and ports in Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad, and Venezuela.
