The United States Australasia Discussion Agreement said its members have adopted a guideline calling for a general rate increase of $200 per 20-foot container and $40 per 40-foot container on cargo moving via U.S. West Coast ports to Australia and New Zealand, effective June 1.
The members of the agreement are: CMA-CGM, Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd, Marfret, MSC and US Lines. The rate action is voluntary and non-binding.
