Netherlands-based container supplier CARU Containers purchased Chinese container trader Fine Link for an undisclosed sum March 1.
CARU Containers, a Netherlands-based independent supplier of new and used containers, acquired Chinese container trader Fine Link March 1, CARU Containers said.
The company will be operating under the names CARU Shanghai and CARU Hong Kong. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Through the acquisition of Fine Link, CARU Containers will gain far more control of the global shipment of containers, allowing the company to pinpoint container deliveries even more precisely on behalf of our clients,” CARU Containers Managing Director Rob Tromp said.
In addition, CARU Containers acquired two Netherlands-based container supplier companies, CCA and ECB Group, in December 2015.
