CBP Port Everglades seeking input on CES
Customs and Border Protection Port Everglades Port Director Ruby Hogan has issued a notice seeking comment on the next contract for the CBP Central Examination Station (CES) for Port Everglades.
CBP has received a single solicitation for the new contract from International Warehouse Services (IWS), which operates the current CES for Port Everglades from a section of its warehouse facility at the Port Everglades Free Trade Zone at 3400 McIntosh Rd.
Public comments on the application must be submitted by Dec. 14 to Hogan at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, 1800 Eller Drive, Suite 104, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33316.
IWS has had the CES contract for the last five years. The CES is where CPB officers examine containers that have been flagged by CBP for full physical inspections.
