CEVA becomes Mazda Australia’s sole transport provider

The third-party logistics provider was awarded two new contracts by Mazda Australia.

CEVA Logistics said it will become the sole national provider of transport services for auto manufacturer Mazda Australia under the two new contracts it was awarded.
Under the contracts, CEVA will transport Mazda vehicles from the wharf to dealerships in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. In addition, the third-party logistics provider will be responsible for the storage and processing of vehicles for transportation to Western Australian dealerships.
“In choosing CEVA as our sole national provider, we know we have a partner capable of handling our additional volume and storage throughputs, with a major fleet of reliable and efficient transporters, a national network of trained operators and allocators and, most importantly, a logistics team that understands Mazda’s philosophy of customer service,” Mazda Australia National Operations Manager Kym Mellow said in a statement.
