CEVA opens global distribution center in the Netherlands

The third-party logistics provider opened a global distribution center in Born, the Netherlands for industrial spare parts.

   CEVA Logistics opened a global distribution center in Born, the Netherlands for industrial spare parts that features 12,000 square meters of warehousing space and a yard of 10,000 square meters, the company said in a statement.
   The center is equipped with 28,000 bin locations and 3,000 square meters of floor storage in the warehouse. The yard has 4,000 racking locations and 4,500 square meters of storage space.
   The Born facility offers incoming unloading, receipt and put away services in addition to outgoing picking, packing, loading and quality inspection.
   Located near the existing CEVA multi-user site that caters to a variety of sectors, the new facility has efficient links to both air and ocean ports, road, rail and barge.
