CEVA Logistics has signed a three-year agreement to manage Michelin’s 25,000-square-meter tire warehouse in Valladolid, Spain.
The firm will provide picking and loading services, inventory management, and other warehouse duties.
“We are proud that Michelin has chosen CEVA as a strategic partner for their logistics,” CEVA’s Oscar Martinez said in a statement. “We are well aware of the challenges that characterize this market and have developed cutting-edge solutions to manage storage, distribution and reverse logistics activities in an impeccable and fast way, which is essential in this sector.”
CEVA has worked to create a foothold in tire logistics and works with Michelin at facilities around the world. In Thailand, CEVA handles the inbound flow of tires from production plants in the region to three warehouse facilities.
