CHEP’s LeanLogistics’ division adds clients
CHEP’s LeanLogistics division has announced several new clients.
Burris Logistics, a Milford, Del.-based temperature-controlled logistics company, will use LeanLogistics transportation management system to manage inbound transportation operations within its network of frozen food warehouses and distribution centers.
Burris is one of the largest frozen food distribution services in the nation, serving customers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, with expansions planned throughout the rest of the country. Burris offers more than 40 million cubic feet of freezer warehousing space in 14 locations and serves retail, wholesale and manufacturing customers.
The company has also acquired Huish Detergents Inc. and WhiteWave Foods as clients.
Huish Detergents is the largest manufacturer of store brand laundry detergents and fabric softeners in North America, provides private label to 85 percent of the U.S. market.
WhiteWave Foods is a subsidiary of Dean Foods whose brands include Horizon Organic, Silk, International Delight and Land O’ Lakes.
