China COSCO Shipping signed a strategic partnership agreement with Chery Automobile last Friday.
China COSCO Shipping and Chery Automobile signed a strategic partnership agreement in Shanghai last Friday, China COSCO Shipping said.
The global shipper and the domestic automaker agreed to deepen their cooperation on water transportation of vehicles and auto parts.
Terminal, warehouse, aviation, overseas business and logistics cooperation were also included within the agreement.
Established in 1997, Chery Automobile specializes in domestic passenger vehicles and auto parts. The company now exports a variety of products – including vehicles, engines and transmissions – to over 80 countries, according to its website.
