CIMC to build five 8,800-TEU ships for MSC

China International Marine Containers said that it has entered into a $425 million shipbuilding contract with the Chinese shipyard, New Times Shipbuilding, for the construction of five 8,800-TEU containerships.
The ships, which are expected to be delivered in 2015, will be chartered to MSC for 204 months.
