CIRCLE EXPANDS LOGISTICS FACILITIES
Circle International Inc., the global logistics company, has opened expanded logistics operations in Los Angeles; Dallas; Edison, N.J.; and Madrid, Spain.
The expansion represents an investment of nearly $9 million and adds more than 300,000 square feet of space for dedicated customer logistics and distribution activities, as well as freight forwarding operations.
In Los Angeles, the 163,000-square-foot facility, one of two Circle operates in the city, provides services for customers including Cygnion, Visteon, Goodyear and Jack Schwartz Shoes.
The Dallas facility, one of two Circle operates there, is 112,000 square feet. It's primary client is Visteon Climate Control System Ltd., which distributes automotive heading and air conditioning components to aftermarket customers.
The Edison facility was expanded to 122,000 square feet from 75,000 square feet. The facility has seen its logistics and distribution business increase by more than 50 percent in the past year, Circle said. Customers include BMW, Goodyear and Bradlees Department Stores.
In Madrid, the new warehouse and office, located net to a Free Trade Zone directly on Madrid airport property, provides 15,000 square feet of space.
