North American large truck orders have had 19 months with year-over-year increases, FTR noted. August orders were the strongest for the month since 2005.
Industry analyst FTR has released preliminary data showing large truck ordered in North America for August were up 29 percent year over year at 24,947 units. These orders have now had 19 consecutive months with year-over-year increases.
